Self-pity?

Sometimes I go about in pity for myself, and all the while a great wind is bearing me across the sky.

    Deep, but that’s what koans are for really, they make you think about what they mean and in the process gain some introspection on your part.

    Yup, I think koans were used to find out how creatively you could think.

    self-pity? well said. but I prefer interpret that as ‘loving myself’. deep thinking and listening to what I really want and need.

      I never thought of self-pity in this way but I like your interpretation of being self aware and self accepting as well.
