Morgan Hill Review

Always in search of new and interesting experiences, Zaira and I will be heading to the Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Skypark (10250 Monterey Road) this Saturday for their Airshow ‘09.

Although the flier lists the remote control airplane event as occurring from 9am to 3pm, the website states the show actually occurs between 10am and 3:30pm (with model airplane activities both before and after the show).  Not known for rising early on Saturdays we’re unlikely to be there at “opening”, but all signs indicate that this would be a good idea (the FAQ mentions shuttle service from the overflow parking lot, so…).

Having never been to a model airshow before Ifon’t feel particularly qualified to tell y’all about it, so I’ll let the following video (from club member Walter Colby) deliver the real pitch:
