Stacking Savings And Sandwiches At Subway

I’ve written about the Bay Area’s best Subway Sandwich shop we have in the Fast Stop Center on Monterey a few times now, but everything there just got a little bit better with the Subway Card Rewards program.  Under this new program every time you use a Subway gift card to make your purchase you receive 1 point for every dollar spent.  These points can then be redeemed for food and drink at Subway at the following point value-

  • 10 Points = 1 Cookie
  • 15 Points = 1 Bag of Chips
  • 20 Points = 21 oz. Drink
  • 35 Points = Mini Sub
  • 50 Points = Regular 6” Sub or Wrap
  • 75 Points = Regular Foot-Long Sub or Salad

While this is similar to the old Subway stamp program it’s far better.  Not only can you redeem your points earlier for such things as cookies, chips or a drink, but every dollar of your purchase counts and, even better, you can buy your gift cards at Safeway to earn points there, then register them at MySubwayCard.com to carry your earned points from one card to another.

Free food, cheaper gas, and a healthy lunch: what more could you ask for?
