Your advice may well be true for &lt;em&gt;some&lt;/em&gt;, but not necessarily all.  I am curious, however, how such blanket advice fits into the concept of &quot;independent advice and a high level of personal attention&quot; that you advertise on your financial planning website.  If you&#039;re going to go around making blanket statements regardless of an individual&#039;s personal financial position I think I&#039;d prefer to go to a financial planner that has &lt;em&gt;my&lt;/em&gt; best interests at heart instead of automatically followiong the herd.
