Morgan Hill Review

The Downtown Comedy Club, hosted by San Jose comic Wes Hoffman, returns to the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse (17090 Monterey St.) this Thursday.

Funny man Jim Summers will be the headliner.  Additional sets will be performed by Anthony Hill and Alicia Dattner.  I’ve never heard of Jim, but I saw Anthony Hill at the San Jose Improv when I was living up there and he’s pretty funny.  Alicia Dattner‘s show The Punchline won “Best Female Solo Show” at the San Francisco Fringe Festival in September, so that’s a fairly strong endorsement for her.

The show starts at 8pm sharp and tickets are $12 at the door or $10 in advance at Booksmart (80 East 2nd St).  The Downtown Comedy Club is recommended only for those over the age of 16.
