Are Your Credit Cards Ready For The Holidays?

With the Christmas shopping season about ready to start in force (Black Friday is only 18 days away!) many Americans are starting to think about their credit cards once again. Of course, the economy being in a tail spin thanks to all of the government interference over the last decade is making things look even bleaker for this coming ‘month of joy’. Well, I’ve chosen to simply not participate in the buying frenzy that typically accompanies these coming cold months, and I recommend you do the same.

Instead, I’m giving myself the present of getting my financial house in order. Right now, that means finding a non profit credit card debt consolidation company that is both trustworthy and easy to work with. Luckily someone just recently recommended the American Credit Foundation®, at DebtGuru.com® and it lokos like they may just fit that bill. (Get it? “Bill”? Debt management? It’s a joke ;) )

Their credit counselors are all certified by the National Institute For Financial Counseling Education, which is a big point in their favor.  As a company, they’re are a member of the American Association of Debt Management Organizations (AADMO), which is another point in their favor.  And, I looked up their records at the Better Business Bureau, and they’ve only had 3 complaints in the last 3 years (all resolved) and none within the last 12 months.  Given the touchy nature of credit consultation I’d say that’s damn near a spotless record.

So, instead of running up your credit cards over the next two months, try getting hold of the American Credit Foundation® and give yourself the gift of a more stable economic future.
