I really had high hopes for this film. The horror genre is my favorite, but I have to say that I was very disappointed with The Strangers. I was hoping for more than what was delivered especially in the end. I even went ahead and gave it a break since I thought it was based on true events, but since you say it really wasn’t…now I dislike it even more. They really could have pushed the envelope on this one and they had the right marketing in place. It got lots of people attention including myself, but honestly just left me hanging.
