Don’t Forget Tomorrow’s Scheduled Blackout!
As I first reported last week, PG&E has a “Planned Electric Service Interruption” scheduled for much of Morgan ihll tomorrow between 8:30am and 3:00pm, so plan accordingly. In addition to having something to do that doesn’t require power during those hours you’ll want to make sure you unplug any electronic equipment that is sensitive to power spikes (computers, high end audio and video, etc).
I’m actually crossing my fingers that they’ll finish early so I can get back online ASAP to handle my internet workload. However, I’ve also made sure there are batteries in the flashlights and candles are available in case they run much later than scheduled. Oh yeah, you might want to make sure your alarm clock(s) have fresh back-up batteries as well, so you’ll have fewer clocks to reset tomorrow evening.
