Morgan Hill Gas Prices Finally Dropping

It seems we’re finally getting a little (emphasis on little) relief from high gas prices here in Morgan Hill. The World gas station (Monterey & San Pedro) has finally dropped back down to $4.39 per gallon. I was starting to think they had permanently installed that $4.46 price on their signage
The World station is my favorite gas station in Morgan hill. Not only is it convenient to me, but it frequently has some of the lowest prices and it is a locally owned franchise, unlike its closest competitor: Safeway.
The benefit of buying gasoline at Safeway is that if you buy your groceries there you get a $0.10 per gallon discount every time you spend more than $50 on groceries. The drawbacks at Safeway: long lines and profits being sent off to corporate headquarters in Pleasanton where they fund over-paid executives and wealthy stockholders.
Here’s hoping the trend continues and we keep moving closer to $4.00 gas instead of the $5 gas that was predicted.
