Who Should Be Sponsoring This Blog?
By now y’all have surely noticed the little sponsorship badges that appear in various posts. They look like: 
Well, that’s primarily how I pay the bills around here. Various companies pay me to write my honest opinion about their products and services. Don’t worry, I’m never going to lie for these companies or push you towards something inferior just to earn a few bucks. Oh, I’ll take their money, but I’ll still tell you exactly how I feel about them.
So, the question now is: what companies or products should be sponsoring this blog? Personally , I’d love to see more local companies helping pay for this local service. The question is, how do we get local companies and SocialSpark.com (my primary advertising company) working together. After all SocialSpark is aimed at a global audience.
I think that’s where Chambers of Commerce and trade organizations can play a role. I’d love to see various trade organizations sponsor local blog posts about local companies through SocialSpark. With bloggers all over the country there should be plenty of opportunity in just about any trade: retail, service, manufacturing. Then local bloggers could personally investigate their own communities and support their neighbors while suppoting themselves.
