You Can Do Better Than This
Yesterday I wrote a post about the Dockers contest in which people are creating their own television commercial for Dockers. Well, I’ve been browsing through some of the entries thus far and I have only one thing to say – if you haven’t submitted your Dockers commercial yet you absolutely still should. In other words, I’m not overly impressed.
There’s still plenty of room for improvement and I know that my fellow Morgan Hill residents have what it takes to blow away the competition thus far. Seriously, so far an entry from New York is just about the best they’ve got going and it features a guy with REALLY bad spelling talking about how Dockers changed his life (though they didn’t improve his spelling). Now, wouldn’t it be great to have some entries from Morgan hill played on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno? Where’s your town spirit? With all of the artists and creative types we’ve got living here surely someone can produce a better Dockers television commercial than that. What’s that? You don’t have the time? How many amazing opportunities have been passed by throughout the years because people claimed not to have the time? This is your chance to have your very own creation shown on national television to one of the largest viewing audiences in America. Make the time, then make the commercial.
