The Weather Outside’s Delightful
As the title says the weather here in Morgan Hill this week is absolutely delightful. In fact it reminds me of why I live in California.
To make the most of the perfect combination of sun and breeze combining to make the day both beautiful and cool I took a longer walk than usual and headed up into the hills to peer at the more upscale homes of my more prosperous neighbors. While admiring the landscaping and lush lawns I also noticed a preponderance of weathervanes which, I suppose, makes sense given the amount of wind Morgan Hill receives coming down off the mountains.
Most of these weather vanes were of the traditional rooster, but many were far more whimsical as well including everything from golfers to flying pigs and even the occasional sailboat (despite the lack of nearby water). However, my personal favorite was the playful dragon pictured above. I had the opportunity to speak to its owner (she was working in her vegetable garden as I passed) and she informed me that she purchased it online from Upside Living. She also asked not to be identified on Morgan Hill Review, so I shan’t be telling you which street her home is located on.
I did check out the site upon my return home, however, and in addition to many other weather vanes of all descriptions they carry a wide variety of gifts for friends and family.
