Spring Wine Celebration at Casa de Fruta
Okay, okay, Casa de Fruta isn’t in Morgan Hill, but it’s fairly near by and this event is being sponsored by my local financial institution: South Valley National Bank. Brought to you by Wineries of Santa Clara Valley, the Spring Wine Celebration will be held on Saturday April 26th from Noon to 5:00pm with food being served between 1:30 and 2:30.
Your $50 ticket can be purchased at any of the participating wineries and includes Wine Tasting, Barrel Tasting, New York Steak, Pasta Con Pesto, garlic bread, salad, dessert, coffee, live music and a barrel race. I’m assuming that the barrel race they mean is the sort pictured above, though it’s possible they mean the more traditional horse barrel racing or even something else entirely. Considering the event is only open to those over the age of 21 I assume they didn’t mean wheel barrow racing. And you can be sure that I will not be attending for the same reason - if Z isn’t allowed I have no interest in being there.
